Prepare and cook

Use a supported raw ingredient with a valid cooking fire. Recipes have their own Cooking skill requirements, success growth and maximum success chance. Fire quality also affects the final chance. On success, you receive the cooked product and cooking experience; on failure, the ingredient is consumed.
Wheat can be prepared into flour, and flour into dough. Bread is the cooked dough recipe. Check the ingredient and preparation target before using your supplies.
Early recipe reference

| Ingredient → product | Cooking skill | Base success | Maximum before fire modifier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dough → Bread | 10 | 50% | 95% |
| Raw meat → Meat | 10 | 50% | 90% |
| Raw ham → Ham | 13 | 40% | 90% |
| Raw dragon ham → Dragon ham | 25 | 40% | 90% |
| Raw shrimp → Cooked shrimp | 10 | 50% | 95% |
Higher skill improves success above the recipe requirement until its cap. A weaker fire can reduce the final result below the table’s maximum. Bring more ingredients than the number of successful meals you need.
Special food uses a separate route
Stonefin, Mirror Pike and Ember Koi are already usable special food. Do not cook them as ordinary raw fish. To craft Triune Broth, bring one of each and 10,000 gold to an Oathkeeper and ask about food or crafting. See effects, durations and account cooldowns.
