Druid summons

Eight original creatures, 800–6,000 mana: illustrated costs, casting instructions and in-game mana milestones for Druids and Elder Druids.

Reborn rules reference · Reviewed 29 October 2026

Bonebeast, the first new Druid summon
Druid & Elder Druid

Eight new companions. One growing mana pool.
From Bonebeast at 800 mana to Behemoth at 6,000. Original monster combat stats, with no character-level gates.

Your summon progression

Fire Elemental remains available for 690 mana. These eight additions extend the roster for Druids and Elder Druids; existing summons and Sorcerer access are unchanged. Each cast uses the original creature, including its attacks, defenses, healing and abilities under normal summon behavior.

Costs are paid once for each creature summoned.

Defense and armor are raw monster values, not damage-reduction percentages. Higher cost does not mean every individual stat increases: melee companions and spellcasters have different strengths.

How to summon

  1. Play a Druid or Elder Druid with magic level 16 or higher.
  2. Have enough current mana for the creature, and fewer than two creatures under your control.
  3. Cast Summon Creature with the monster name. For example: utevo res "Bonebeast" or utevo res "Dragon Lord".
  4. Allow room for the summon to appear. The cost is deducted after successful creation; each additional summon costs the same amount.

There is no ongoing mana upkeep or special advanced-summon slot. Both regular slots can hold these creatures. The new creatures remain unavailable through Convince Creature.

Recall Summons (utani res) costs 20 mana and requires magic level 1. It brings your summons to available positions near you; blocked space can prevent recall.

A message when your mana capacity grows

When your maximum mana first reaches a new summon cost, you receive an in-game milestone message naming the creature and its cost. This includes capacity from equipment and mastery bonuses. Existing Druids receive one combined message for newly recognized milestones when they log in.

Each milestone is announced once per character. Spending mana, regenerating it, reconnecting or removing and re-equipping the same bonus does not repeat the announcement. If a temporary bonus expires, you still need enough current mana before casting again.

These messages recognize mana capacity; they do not waive magic level 16, current-mana requirements or the summon limit. There are no fixed character-level unlocks.

Two regular summons, with the original skeleton exceptions

Summon Creature and Convince Creature refuse another creature when you already control two or more. Two advanced companions are allowed, including two of the same kind.

Animate Dead and Undead Legion retain their original behavior: they can add skeletons beyond that limit. Skeletons already under your control still count when Summon Creature checks your total. You can summon your companions first and animate additional skeletons afterwards.

The creatures retain their original combat abilities, including fields, paralysis, immunities and healing where applicable. Their damage is not disabled in PvP. Normal summon handling disables their loot; these companions are for fighting alongside you.
